About Shahin

My passion for child care started at an early age. Growing up, I was always interested in understanding how children learn, grow, and develop. I believed that providing the right care and guidance during childhood can make a lasting difference in a child’s future.

My educational journey began at Bank Street School for Children, where I developed a strong foundation in child development and education. Inspired by my desire to help children thrive, I continued my studies and earned advanced qualifications from Harvard University Graduate School of Education, expanding my knowledge of child psychology, learning, and development.

My Journey in Child Care

After completing my education, I had the opportunity to work with UNICEF, where I focused on various aspects of child care and child development. During my time there, I gained valuable experience supporting programs designed to improve children’s well-being, education, safety, and overall development.

Working closely with child-focused initiatives helped me understand the real challenges parents and caregivers face every day. I learned that many families simply need clear, reliable, and practical guidance to support their children’s growth.

Through my professional experience, I realized that parents often struggle to find trustworthy information about child care. There is an overwhelming amount of advice online, but not all of it is accurate or easy to understand.
